As you can see from the chart above (Click on the image at left to make it larger), All of our fixtures are made of the highest quality and offer the longest durability in the market today! Many of landscape lighting fixtures you may find at large chain stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) that you may find for low prices are typically made out of a very thin aluminum material that will last maybe a year or two at most, after which you will need to replace, costing you $$$ and time! Not to mention a lot of them look common and just plain cheap. All of our fixtures are made with a high gauge or thick cast material. Looking at the chart above, Solid Brass and Raw Copper fixtures offer the best value in price and longevity. For high traffic areas or areas prone to fixtures being knocked around (i.e. lawnmower, etc), Cast Brass and Stainless Steel fixtures offer the ultimate in harsh weather protection and strength! Our Cast Aluminum fixtures will slowly corrode over time, and we do not recommend them in harsh weather enviornments or near the coast (salty air, humid). Any of our fixtures made out of Brass, Copper, Stainless Steel or Fiberglass will NEVER rust or corrode over time, and will probably outlive all of us! Remember, when you put landscape lighting in your front or back yard, you only want to do it once. Buy quality fixtures and never worry about them again!
